The need was to have a Web Portal to smoothen the Project Management aspect of the Customer Projects across the company. A customer enquiry is logged and then traced till the time it is converted into an Order. On conversion to an order, it is tracked through various stages of delivery and operations with every participant being able to manage the project and view the status.
The project related documents can be shared on this portal between the various stake holders of the project. The access to the application is role based. The project was delivered in record time with no schedule overruns.
